Education Day
Leadership Tampa Bay

February 23, 2023

The day’s learning began at Roland Park K-8 Magnet School with welcome from Addison Davis, HCPS Superintendent and Nadia Combs, HCPS School Board Chair. After the welcome, the class was engaged by an education panel of local experts covering an array of topics. Frameworks was the next progression for the class that allowed them an insider’s view of their classrooms. A cross the bay, the class arrived at St. Petersburg College Allstate Center where the group was greeted to a tour of the facility and lunch. Back on the bus and across the bridge to The University of Tampa. Here the classmates where provided a tour of the Howard & Patricia Jenkins Health & Technology Center. UT’s President Dr Vaughn (LTB ’88) and Renee Vaughn welcomed our class and provided a wonderful reception for all. None of our class days would be possible without our amazing sponsors including Early Learnings Coalition of Hillsborough County, Suncoast Credit Union, St. Petersburg College, Frameworks and The University of Tampa.
